Asociación Latinoamericana de Parques Zoológicos y Acuarios

Africam Safari-Mexico designed and produced many educational materials for the Year of the Frog to be used by the Asociación Latinoamericana de Parques Zoológicos y Acuarios (the Association of Latin American Zoological Parks and Aquariums.) Pamphlets, posters and zoo graphics were created to educate visitors about amphibians and raise awareness about the illegal pet trade, composting and natural pesticides. Banners spread the word about the Year of the Frog and shared ways visitors could become involved in conservation action. Hands-on activities taught children about the amphibian life cycle and other interesting adaptations. To remind visitors about the Year of the Frog after they left the zoos and aquariums, souvenirs such as buttons, calendars and bookmarks were designed. All of the materials are in Spanish and available below.
