Tom Naiman is Director of Curriculum Development and International Education at the Bronx Zoo. Since 1994, he has been responsible for the implementation of the Wildlife Conservation Society's environmental education training and curriculum programs around the world. He has led workshops for educators from zoos, aquariums, nature reserves, museums, NGOs, and schools in the U.S., China, Cuba, India, Kenya, Mexico, Papua New Guinea and Zambia. Tom is an author of numerous Bronx Zoo curriculum materials, including Voyage from the Sun, and Teachers for Tigers, which has been translated into four languages. He was the 2003-2004 Americas Editor of the Journal of the International Zoo Educators Association (IZE) and also served as IZE's regional representative for North America. Tom has a B.A. from Brown University and an M.A. in physical anthropology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
